Wisconsin National Guard makes delivery for Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners

WAUSAU – The Wisconsin National Guard made a stop in the Stevens Point area on July 13 to pick up a delivery for Nicaragua.

The Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas collected 40 pallets of supplies over the past year that had filled a warehouse used by the organization.
According to the Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners, the objective of their work is to improve quality of life, vocational options, income, self-sufficiency and empowerment for people living throughout Nicaragua while at the same time providing valuable, rewarding volunteer experience for people in Wisconsin.
Their humanitarian efforts to improve the quality of life for people in both Wisconsin and Nicaragua spans over 50 years.

The donations were transported to Minneapolis/St. Paul, where they will be flown to Nicaragua.
