Plover police seek information in Cliff’s Bait Shop robbery

STEVENS POINT – The Plover Police Department is searching for the individual(s) who robbed Cliff’s Bait Shop, located at 1200 Post Rd., Plover.

The incident occurred on Aug. 1.

A public release from the department states the local shop was robbed of roughly $1,000 worth of tackle.

According to the release, “Cliff’s Bait Shop has been in business for 60 years and is still open in memory of Cliff. The owner stated that she might have to shut down the shop due to this theft.”
