Stevens Point artist on display at The Pump House
By Gazette staff
A Pump House Regional Arts Center exhibit will feature work by Stevens Point artist Jessie Fritsch.
“Protect the Pollinators” demonstrates artist Jessie Fritsch’s goal to “educate people about the honey bee, how to protect pollinators, and encaustic art.”
The center will host a Sept. 18 virtual reception for Fritsch and fellow artists, Kari Hogden and Joan Finnegan. The reception will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. via Zoom and livestreamed on the Pump House Facebook page.
All three artists’ works will be on display through Nov. 7.
The Pump House Regional Arts Center, 119 King St, La Crosse, is home to a “wide range of visual and performing arts activities.” The Pump House features three exhibition galleries, a 140-seat theater, art education classrooms complete with kiln and pottery wheels, a conference room, and an outdoor courtyard with seating.
