Sex offender released in Stevens Point
Woodworth has two prior convictions

The Stevens Point Police Department said that a 44-year-old convicted sex offender has been released in the city of Stevens Point.
“Jeffrey Woodworth was convicted of Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in May 1997 and again for Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in December 2006. He has served his sentence imposed on him and will be released from prison back to Stevens Point on Tuesday, October 27, 2020,” a Stevens Point Police Department release stated.
“In regards to Jeffrey Woodworth sex offense in 1997, he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old acquaintance while on intensive sanction supervision and electronic monitoring. In his 2006 conviction, Jeffrey Woodworth sexually assaulted a 14-year-old acquaintance.”
Upon release from prison, Jeffrey Woodworth will be living 1019 Arlington Place, Stevens Point He will be placed on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC), and monitored by Sex Offender Agent Specialists with the Division of Community Corrections, in Portage County. Jeffrey Woodworth is subject to lifetime GPS monitoring.
“Jeffrey Woodworth has additional conditions, but not limited to; not have any unsupervised contact with minors; not to consume drugs. Jeffrey Woodworth is to comply with standard sex offender rules and to cooperate with electronic monitoring, including complying with all requirements and lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry,” the release added.
