The Portage County Business Council and Star Spangled Spirits celebrated the opening of Stevens Point’s “most patriotic specialty liquor store” at 5474 U.S. Highway 10E, in Stevens Point, during a ribbon cutting ceremony held Nov. 6.
Owners Wayne and Brittany Eger-Müller are first-time business proprietors and are excited to start their new journey.
“We realized that there was no liquor store on this side of town, and when we asked patrons from the area, we were met with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm in regards to our new prospective business,” Müller said.
“It is our goal to provide a good selection of liquor, wine, and beer with a great customer experience that will exceed all expectations.”
Müller is a former electrical apprentice for Disher Electric and was eager to open the new store, noting a patriotic theme inside the shop.
“We are a new exciting liquor store, with a patriotic red, white and blue atmosphere. We welcome all and salute the great veterans of our country with pride,” Müller added.
