Gallery Q Artists Cooperative in Stevens Point will feature the jewelry of silversmith Joan North, on Dec. 4-5, at its downtown location, 1108 Main Street.
North’s annual jewelry show is in its 17th year. The public is invited to meet the artist and explore 100 pieces.
North is a jewelry artist and silversmith and was formerly the dean of the UWSP College of Professional Studies, before retiring in 2010.
“North’s work emphasizes line and subtle color and often evokes metaphors about life and nature. Her jewelry is shown at galleries, museums and exhibits coast to coast,” a gallery release stated.
The show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
