Robert Manzke has been selected to serve on the Stevens Point Area Public School District School Board until the spring 2022 election.
The Stevens Point Area Public School District School Board held interviews at a Special School Board Meeting, on Feb. 1, to fill a board vacancy created by the resignation of Patricia Baker.
“Manzke comes to the School Board with experience working with various boards, educational organizations and is currently the Chief of Staff at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Manzke was selected from 15 well qualified and enthusiastic applicants who applied and were interviewed by the Board for the position,” a school district release stated.
“Rob brings a wealth of community knowledge and a higher education and parent lense,” stated board president, Meg Erler on behalf of the school board. “We are looking forward to him joining the board and working in this expanded role for students, staff, and our community.”
Manzke was sworn in on Feb. 8.
