Business Council seeks nominations

By Gazette staff

The Portage County Business Council (PCBC) is seeking nominations for multiple 2021 community awards.

Portage County Charitable Community Award

This award recognizes a Portage County nonprofit organization whose work has enriched the lives of Portage County residents.

“This award recognizes the special nature of social service, cultural and other charitable efforts,” a PCBC release stated.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award

This award recognizes a business or businessperson for achievement.

Young Professional of the Year Award

The PCBC and Ignite Young Professionals invite you to nominate an individual for the Young Professional of the Year Award.

Golden Apple Excellence in Education Award

The Partners in Education Committee seeks to recognize teachers who have made significant contributions to education and work with future leaders.

Visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/782DB8F to nominate a teacher for the Golden Apple Excellence in Education Award.

All nominations are due by March 1.

The award recipients will be recognized at the PCBC’s Creative Excellence Breakfast, scheduled for April 6 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center.
