Government aid for rehabilitating the railroads was discussed at the President’s cabinet meeting. Deep concern was expressed for the situation and state of the railroads. President Harding would also meet with the head of the railroad labor board to discuss.

St. Joseph Church held a special organ dedication concert to celebrate their acquisition of a Allen “Protégé” organ.
10 Years
The city of Stevens Point will have to go back to the negotiating table with Valley Bank after terminating a $1.875 million offer to purchase CenterPoint Marketplace from Valley Bank when environmental testing raised concerns about the property.
The Central Wisconsin Orchestra presented its final concert of the “Uniquely Yours!” season. Peter Thomas, a Stevens Point native and cellist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, joined the CWSO in the performance.
