90FM wraps up Raid on Trivia 51

PORTAGE COUNTY – WWSP 90FM wrapped up its Raid on Trivia 51 event on April 18. The 38-hour trivia contest had 304 teams battling it out for first place this year.
The three-day event is the world’s largest trivia contest, and usually brings together thousands of people each year, though this year shifted to a digital format due to COVID-19. Contestants listened to trivia questions on 90 FM or online and submitted their answers via the internet. WWSP 90 FM Public Affairs Director Anna Herrmann said the station hopes to return to in-person call ins next year.
This year’s winning team was Mom’s Computer’s, coming in at 18,740 points; second was Festivus for the Rest of Us at 17,365; third was Trivial Fursuit: XI Bangs was third at 16,045; and fourth was Lactation Nation Areola 51 at 15,485.
