The Stevens Point Brewery to host block party

For the City Times
STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Brewery will host their “Point Brewery Block Party” on June 12.
The event will feature live music from Stetsin and Lace and food from local food trucks.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, practice social distancing, and wear a face covering when applicable.
“We’ve been very fortunate to continue operations all through 2020. With the guidance of public health officials, we are extremely happy to offer a live event to thank the community for supporting us, and also our employees for stepping up during a challenging year,” said Point Brewery Operating Partner Joe Martino.
For first responders
Leading up to the event, first responders are encouraged to pick up a voucher for two free Block Party drink tickets, along with one free 12-pack of Tea Runner Hard Iced Tea. These will be available until June 11 in the Point Brewery Gift Shop.
“We made a point of giving back to first responders early in 2020. Heading into summer, we want to make sure they know we appreciate everything they do every day. Just show the gift shop an official hospital, EMT, paramedic, medical, police, or fire ID, and then enjoy some hard-earned Point brews responsibly at the Block Party,” explained Point Marketing Director Julie Birrenkott.
The block party will run June 12, 3-7 p.m., at the brewery.
