A roadster driven by and belonging to P.H. Hewitt, a traveling salesman, was badly damaged along with three other cars when Hewitt lost control of his vehicle while driving east on Main Street in the business section of the city. The accident occurred on Main at North Third Street when Hewitt was attempting to pass a vehicle.
The Lake Shore league is having its troubles this year. The president is having his hands full keeping the league going with fights occurring almost every Sunday.

Voters in the Tomorrow River School District in Amherst approved a referendum, 851-554, on June 19 to allow the district to exceed the Wisconsin revenue limits by $350,000 for each of the next five years.
Kristen Marie Christopherson and John Stephen Clark were married on July 8.
