Your Guide to Riverfront Rendezvous 2021

STEVENS POINT – With the return of Riverfront Rendezvous on July 2-4, both locals and tourists are planning their weekend getaway to the renowned Stevens Point extravaganza.
With three stages of live entertainment, Family Fun Zone, July 4 parade, fireworks, and more, it can be hard to map out your perfect weekend. Let Gazette staff help you break down the weekend itinerary, so you can make the most out of this year’s Riverfront Rendezvous.
Friday, July 2
Family Fun Zone (located across the street from Pfiffner Park): Guests can enjoy family-friendly inflatable games from 5 p.m. until dusk. Followed by lumberjack shows at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Main Stage (located at the Pfiffner Park Bandshell): Music starts at 7-8:15 p.m. with Christopher Gold Band (Americana). Followed Horseshoes and Hand Grenades (bluegrass) from 9-10:30 p.m.
North Tent (located near the Pfiffner building): Music starts at 7-11 p.m. with Conscious Pilot (rock).
Pfiffner Building Stage (located along Fourth Avenue): Music starts at 7-10 p.m. with Donnie Pick and The Road Band (blues).
Saturday, July 3
Family Fun Zone: The fun kicks off at noon with inflatable games, followed by lumberjack shows at 12:15, 4:30, and 6 p.m. A kid’s safety demonstration with open EMS vehicles, obstacle course, and more will also be available from 1-4 p.m.
Main Stage: Music starts with TAE (R&B) at 1-3 p.m. Followed by Betsy Ade & The Well-Known Strangers (Pop) at 7-8:15 p.m., and Purple Veins (Prince tribute) at 9-10:30 p.m.
North Tent: Music from Pat and Patience Acoustic (Rock) starts at 3-4:30 p.m., followed by Stetsin and Lace (Country) from 7-11 p.m.
Pfiffner Building Stage: A free trivia contest will start at 1 p.m. To enter, simply be at the Pfiffner Building at 1 p.m. More info can be found at RiverfrontRendezvous.com. Music starts at 4:30-6:30 p.m. with Cullah and the Comrades (soul), followed by Good Morning Bedlam (folk) at 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Carp Classic: The Carp Classic fishing tournament takes place at 8 a.m. on July 2. To register, visit the Pfiffner Building at 7 a.m. There is a $2 registration fee, and check-in ends at 1 p.m. Children under 12, individual shore, and team boat divisions are available.
Riverfront Walk: A three-mile fun walk will take place throughout the grounds starting at 11 a.m. Guests should gather at the Pfiffner building in advance to participate. Dress in your best red, white, and blue for a chance to win a prize.
Sunday, July 4
July 4 Parade: The July 4 Parade will cruise down Main Street in Stevens Point at noon. Guests are invited to come early to find parking and a place to sit.
Family Fun Zone: Inflatable games are available from noon until dusk, with lumberjack shows taking place at 2:15, 4:30, and 7:30 p.m.
Main Stage: Music by Frugal Stu and the Coupons (disco-funk) from 1-3 p.m., Thy Dirty Deuce (Rock) from 6:15-7:30 p.m., and Gangstagrass (bluegrass rap) from 8:15-9:45 p.m.
North Tent: Music from the Oxleys (folk) from 3-4:30 p.m., followed by Madtown Mannish Boys (blues) from 7-11 p.m.
Pfiffner Building Stage: Music from Sarah Crow and the Strangers (folk) from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Fireworks show: Fireworks will begin at dusk on July 4. The fireworks will be lit from the Wisconsin River, allowing guests to utilize the grounds at both Pfiffner and Mead Park. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to find a parking spot and seat.
Pfiffner Pioneer Park is located at 1100 Crosby Ave. Mead Park is located at 1201 W. Whitney St.
