New State Patrol officers set to graduate Friday in La Crosse

STEVENS POINT – The 42 cadets of the State Patrol’s 66th Recruit Class finished more than six months of comprehensive training at the State Patrol Academy at Fort McCoy to prepare for careers as troopers or inspectors. Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary-designee Craig Thompson and State Patrol Superintendent Anthony Burrell joined other state officials, family and friends as the new State Patrol officers were awarded their diplomas and badges on July 30.
