Aliverti joins UWSP softball, athletics staff

STEVENS POINT – UW-Stevens Point head softball coach Ryan Konitzer announced the addition of Megan Aliverti as an assistant coach to his staff.
“We are extremely excited to be adding our first full-time assistant to our staff,” said Konitzer, “and Megan was exactly the type of person we were looking for. From the very beginning of the interview process, you could see the passion she has for coaching and her drive to be successful. She’s going to be a great addition to our program and our athletic department.”
Aliverti comes to UWSP after a standout career at UW-Parkside where she started 185 games for the Rangers and was named the UWP Female Student-Athlete of the year in 2021. She led the team with a .347 average in 2021 to pick up first-team All-GLIAC and second-team NFCA all-region laurels. She also earned NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors in 2020-21.
Off the field, Aliverti was a Sports Management Club Board Member at UW-Parkside, serving as the president in 2019-20. She also assisted with myriad games management tasks at UWP
Aliverti, a native of Clarkston, Wash., will also assist in the sports information department.
