For the City Times
STEVENS POINT – Designers2, a design and home furnishings company in the Stevens Point community since 1983, will have a new home in the fall of 2021.

Designers 2, currently located at 3233 Business Park Drive, will become part of the new Hyer by Design complex at 130 McDill Avenue, in the village of Whiting. The 10,000-square-foot collaboration will feature four specialty stores providing design services, home furnishings, glass, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and window treatments and fixtures.

“Hyer by Design is the brainchild of Ryan Hyer of Hyer Homes and me,” said Brad Anderson, owner of Designers2. “We’ve found that by working together we’re able to provide a better building experience for our mutual customers.”

“It seemed like the perfect pairing.Hyer Homes is known for quality construction. Ryan’s been building custom homes since 1996. Designers2 has built its reputation on helping homeowners create timeless designs with quality furniture and unique accessories for almost 40 years.”

Located in the McDill Pond neighborhood, the Hyer by Design complex also has plans for a phase 2 expansion featuring four luxury, single-story, patio-home style condominiums. These residences are planned to be completed by fall 2022.

“Our success has been built on the strong support of the Stevens Point community,” Anderson said. “We are excited to bring another inspirational experience to our area.”

The Village of Whiting is excited to gain a new neighbor,” said Paul Stroik, Whiting Village president. “The Hyer by Design building will be a beautiful addition in a prominent location in the Village.”
