ALMOND – Wisconsin artist Amy Zaremba completed a Wisconsin themed mural on the side of the Almond branch library, 122 Main St., on Aug. 13.

The stunning scene depicts Wisconsin fields, farming gear, and a farmer clutching a handful of potatoes.

Library Director Larry Oathout said the piece is an excellent addition to the library, and hopes that it offers visitors a bright, vibrant welcome each time they stop by the Almond branch.

“It should look beautiful once it’s complete,” Oathout said in an interview with the Gazette.

Zaremba grew up in Northern Wisconsin and has called Madison home since 2000.

“[I] design and paint community murals with Dane Arts Mural Arts (DAMA) and take commissions for independent murals through Zaremba Art,” Zaremba explained.
