PORTAGE COUNTY – The Portage County Business Council (PCBC) announced Michael Witte as the new Executive Director of the PCBC.
Current director Todd Kuckkahn will serve until Nov. 5 before making his departure. Kuckkahn is leaving the group to focus on his leadership development business as an independent certified coach, trainer, and speaker.
“The staff, ambassadors, board, and Ignite have been incredible resources to make some significant value-based changes to the organization,” Kuckkahn stated. “It has been an honor to work with the central Wisconsin business community and I look forward to working with them in the future.”
Witte has experience in recruitment and community engagement and has past experience at a Chamber of Commerce.
“I used to be a Portage County Business Council member, a long time ago, I used to have a company here called Productivity Point International,” Witte said during a PCBC Business After Hours event. “So I am new to the Portage County Business Council as executive director, but not new to what the council offers.”
“We will miss Todd tremendously but I am sure we will see him again and wish him all the luck in the future. Todd has a reputation of success and I am excited to see that continue in his new endeavor. We are also excited for this next chapter of the Portage County Business Council.” says Ray Ackerlund, PCBC Board President.
