STEVENS POINT – Worzalla, an employee-owned book printer specializing in printing high-quality children’s books, cookbooks, and hard-cover bestsellers, is inviting the community to join its holiday giving efforts. Worzalla is collecting food, clothing, household items, and other in-demand items for those in need in Portage County.

On their own, Worzalla associates have already collected donations to brighten the holidays for many families in need through Operation Bootstrap, Toys for Tots, and the Boys & Girls Club.

“Worzalla associates have shown a great amount of generosity to our community this year, but we are not done yet,” said Brianne Petruzalek, Vice President of Human Resources at Worzalla. “Now, we are asking the community to join our efforts to make sure our fellow community members have everything they need to be able to joyfully celebrate this holiday season this year.”

A Giving Tree is set up in Worzalla’s lobby, located at 3535 Jefferson St, Stevens Point, WI 54481, for community members to stop by and donate their items through Dec. 22.. The public can take a ticket from the giving tree, write their name and phone number on the ticket to be entered into a raffle. Tickets will be entered into a drawing that will be held Dec. 23, to win “A Book a Month in 2022” from Worzalla.

The Salvation Army says that they are in most need of the following items:

-Peanut butter

-Canned soup

-Canned fruit

-Canned vegetables

-Canned fish

-Canned beans

-Pasta-

-Rice

-Applesauce

Worzalla’s lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accept donation drop offs.
