Suspect arrested for illegal images

PORTAGE COUNTY – The Joint Stevens Point/Plover SWAT team were used to execute a search warrant on the 2600 block of Fourth Avenue, in Stevens Point for possession of illegal images of a minor on April 12. There were three occupants in the residence, and one was arrested as the other two were found to not be the target of the warrant.

The Stevens Point Police Department in cooperation with Department of Justice/Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations assisted with interviews. Our detectives received a tip through Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) of the criminal activity. Our investigation lead us to this residence.

Police arrested Alexander M. Kucharski, who was booked for the possession of possession of illegal images.
