SPASH names new head football coach

STEVENS POINT – SPASH is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Eigenberger as the new head football coach.
Eigenberger was previously the Head Football Coach at Kohler High School (Kohler, Sheboygan Christian, and Sheboygan Lutheran) from 2019-2022. Prior to being the head coach, Eigenberger was an assistant coach since 2016. As a head coach, Eigenberger has elevated his teams to the WIAA playoffs in two of his first three years, advancing to Level Two in the 2022 season and coaching three 2022 all-state players.
Eigenberger stated, “I am thrilled to be the next head football coach at SPASH. To be part of this exceptional academic and athletic institution is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The mission of the football program will be to develop resilient leaders ready for success in all areas of life.
We will focus on leadership while relentlessly competing to continue on the great success of this program.”
Eigenberger has a degree in history and political science from the UW-Whitewater with teaching certifications in Broadfield Social Studies, Political Science, History, and English. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts Degree in education. Eigenberger will be teaching Social Studies in the Stevens Point Area School District starting in the 2022-23 school year.
