What is a nickname everyone calls you?
“A lot of my teammates and coaches call me Brookie. I think it started because Brooke doesn’t have an easy or straightforward nickname, and everyone thought it was cute and funny.”
What is your favorite sport besides softball?
“The other sport I grew up doing was competitive swimming. I started in second grade and swam club through the YMCA during the winter. Once I got to PJ’s and SPASH, I also swam on the school team.”
Tacos or Pasta?
“Pasta 100%!! During online learning, my go-to lunch was making a Noodles and Company copycat of their Penne Rosa.”
If you could choose between hitting home runs every at-bat or having your team win but strike out every time, which would you choose?
“One of the most important parts of team sports is doing what’s best for the team, not just yourself. That being said, part of the sport is also working your butt off in order to get better and gain opportunities for yourself. I think that hitting a home run every at-bat is every player’s dream, and it’s pretty tough to pass that up, so I think my teammates will forgive me;)”
Where is one place you want to travel to the most?
“One of my dream vacations would be to travel through Europe by train and take a stop in every country.”
What are your aspirations for the future?
“I’m majoring in Biology with the goal to go on to Veterinary Medicine. I’ve always been interested in STEM courses at school, and I have a passion for animals, so I thought I would try to combine the two!”
Socks or barefoot?
“I like to go barefoot, especially around my yard in the summer.”
Who is one celebrity you want to meet the most?
“I have a not so mini crush on Harry Styles, so I’d probably want to meet him.”
Movies at home or in a theater?
“As much fun as mega-screen theaters can be, I enjoy watching movies at home. My family and I like to make commentary throughout, and sometimes the conversation about the movies is just as good as the movie itself!”
What superpower would you like to have the most?
“I think I would want the ability to fly.”
