Spring candidate forums to be held in March

STEVENS POINT – Two candidate forums will be held in March to create candidate dialogue before the upcoming spring election.

On March 9, the Stevens Point Area League of Women Voters, Stevens Point Area Senior High School and Portage County Business Council will host a forum for Stevens Point school board and Plover board candidates from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Ben Franklin Junior High School Auditorium, 2000 Polk St., Stevens Point.

On March 15, the UW-Stevens Point Student Government Association, Stevens Point Area League of Women Voters and Portage County Business Council will host a forum for candidates running for Stevens Point mayor and council in the UW-Stevens Point University Center Theater, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The forums will also be recorded and posted to the city of Stevens Point YouTube channel.
