Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin announces spring community grants

STEVENS POINT – The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin (CFCWI) recently awarded $164,547 in grants to 28organizations that will enhance Portage and Waushara counties.

The foundation has granted a total of $329,080 this fiscal year to support programs and projects in Portage and Waushara counties that align with our values and five mission areas.

Portage County recipients

ADRC – Silver Threads of Portage County

Boys & Girls Club of Portage County – Club Create

CAP Services – Mental Health Navigation

Central Sands Amateur Radio – Equipping a Communication Support Vehicle

Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum – Museums for All

CREATE Portage County – General Operating Support

Foster Hope – Central Wisconsin Royal Family Kids

Friends of Women in Recovery – Medicaid Shortage

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin – Program Expansion

Midwest Renewable Energy Association – 32nd Annual Energy Fair

Mid-State Technical College – DEI Applied Conference Scholarships

National Inventors Hall of Fame – Camp Invention

ODC – Better Together

Operation Bootstrap – Job Assistance Program

Plover River Crossing – Interpretive Trail Signs

Portage County Historical Society – We Just Wanted to Play

Portage County Legal Aid Society – Legal Services Support

American Legion Woman-Minskey – WWII Memorial Building Tables

Ice Age Trail Alliance – Prairie restoration & education

North Central Conservancy Trust – Strategic Outreach for Conservation

Waushara County Food Pantry – Maintaining Hunger Relief Services

Waushara County Health Department – Waushara Run for Hope 5K

Waushara Prevention Council – Backpack Food Program

The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin is a non-profit organization that inspires charitable giving by connecting people and resources to enhance central Wisconsin.

Applications for CFCWI’s Community Grants Fall Cycle will open again on July 1.
