Stevens Point School District seeks applicants for board seat

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Area Public School District is currently seeking applications to fill an existing vacancy on the school board.
The board is inviting interested candidates to apply for the position by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19.
To be considered for the appointment, candidates must submit an application and declaration of candidacy form to the attention of Karlyn Krautkramer, board secretary, at the office of the superintendent located at 1900 Polk St., Stevens Point.
The newly appointed board member will be selected and seated at a special meeting on April 24 and serve until April 2024.
At that time, a successor will be elected in the April 2024 spring election, to serve a three-year term.
