Nicolet National Bank Senior Spotlight: Charlie Lorbecki, Rosholt track and field

Charlie Lorbecki is a senior at Rosholt High School and has been a part of the track and field team for his whole high school career.
Lorbecki was also a part of the varsity basketball team.
Here is more on the Rosholt senior:
How long have you been doing track and field?
“I’ve been throwing in track for six years since I was in the sixth grade.”
What is it like running track alongside your sister Lily?
“It is great having my sister there for me so we can critique each other to always improve.”
What events do you participate in?
“I participate in shot put and disk (discus).”
Which event is your favorite? Have you always participated in these two events?
“Disk is my favorite. I have done the 4×100-meter and the 4×200-relay in the past and one 4×400 because people were sick.”
Do you play any other sports?
“I have done cross country the last two years, along with basketball since middle school.”
What are your plans for college?
“I plan on going into the workforce to get an electrician apprenticeship.”
What is your favorite subject in school?
“Math was my favorite subject because it has always made sense to me.”
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you buy?
“If I won the lottery, I would send my mom on a trip to Europe.”
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
“If I could live anywhere, I would move to northern Wisconsin. There are lots of lakes to go fishing in and good hunting.”
