PLOVER — The newly-formed Plover Area Conventions and Visitors Bureau (PACVB), between the Village of Plover and the Town of Plover, has announced the hiring of Malorie Paine as Executive Director.
“We are excited to gain Malorie’s experience from some of the biggest stages in the country and bringing that vision and talent to our community,” said Chris Brooks, Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chairman. “Her recent work has gained her the knowledge of what Plover is and what Plover needs, while having bigger overall goals. This is a big win for the central Wisconsin area,” Brooks added.
The hiring process consisted of over 40 qualified applicants going through a multi-stage process of exercises and interviews, including video productions and hypothetical finance and marketing budgets. Malorie will start with the PACVB on June 5, with an office located at the Village of Plover Municipal Building.
Malorie Paine comes to the Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau with a decade of marketing, communications, journalism, and event management background. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Communications from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
“I’m thrilled to lead Plover’s tourism efforts,” Paine said. “Plover offers a vast array of visitor experiences, and I am looking forward to highlighting them and sharing Plover’s incredible story locally and beyond.”
