Lee R Helm
Lee R. Helm, 97, of Plover, WI, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 after a short
hospital stay.
Private graveside services, along with Full Military Honors, were held at St. Bronislava Church Cemetery. Lee’s closest friends were there in celebration of his life.
Lee was born to Earl and Emma (Arbush) Helm on July 18, 1925. He graduated from PJ Jacobs High School and started work at Preway in Wisconsin Rapids until the Army needed him. After the Army, Lee resumed work at Preway until his retirement.
Lee was married to Helen Shulfer for over 20 years until 2002 when she passed.
Some of Lee’s many hobbies included his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles which, as a young man, he rode all year round. He loved going to the various casinos, hunting and fishing.
Lee was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife; a brother, Karl; and his special friend, Betty.
